Speak for the Unborn

Speak for the Unborn

Speak for the Unborn is a ministry of evangelistic “sidewalk counseling” and prayer outside of the local abortion clinic. Our desire is that the gospel of hope would be the means by which God would bring an end to abortion in our city, country, and beyond. Our ministry is a local church chapter of Speak for the Unborn (click here to see their site and learn more).

Our Biblical Call to Action

If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small. Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, “Behold, we did not know this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it, and will he not repay man according to his work?Proverbs 24:10-12

Our Goals

  1. Offer men and women facing a crisis pregnancy the gospel (Rom. 1:16),

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes…

  2. Offer other options besides abortion and direct them to where they can find help (Prov. 24:11),

Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter.

  3. Be a voice for the unborn (Prov. 31:8-9),

Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.

  4. Offer the gospel to post-abortive women and their partners (Luke 7:36-50).

And behold, a woman of the city, who was a sinner, when she learned that he was reclining at table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of ointment, and standing behind him at his feet, weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head and kissed his feet and anointed them with the ointment. Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would have known who and what sort of woman this is who is touching him, for she is a sinner.”… And he [Jesus] said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” Then those who were at table with him began to say among themselves, “Who is this, who even forgives sins?” And he said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”
